Faith & Doubt
Talk to Jesus About Doubt
Honest conversations about faith, doubt, and questions about God
“Immediately the boy's father exclaimed: 'I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!'”
— Mark 9:24
Doubt is not the opposite of faith. The disciples doubted. Thomas famously refused to believe without evidence — and Jesus came to him, specifically, and offered it. John the Baptist, in prison, sent messengers to ask Jesus 'Are you really the one?' even after he had baptised him and heard the voice from heaven.
The person who never doubts is often the person who has never genuinely wrestled with what they believe. Authentic faith — the kind that holds through real hardship — is usually forged through honest questioning, not avoided by it.
If you have questions, bring them. Jesus can handle your doubt. He met Thomas in it. He met John in it. He can meet you there too.
